Ranked by real Hyperliquid closed PnL · illustrative figures

How it works

  1. Browse the Master Trader Leaderboard — traders ranked by real trading performance (ROI, win rate, volume) read directly from Hyperliquid fills, never self-reported.
  2. Vet the trader — open any trader's full portfolio, trade history, and PnL benchmarked against BTC/ETH/HYPE before committing.
  3. Follow with your own settings — choose how much to allocate and your risk limits. You are never forced to match the leader's size or leverage.
  4. Ritdex mirrors position changes — when the trader opens, resizes, reverses, or closes, Ritdex places the equivalent action on your account in near real time.
  5. Everything settles on-chain on Hyperliquid, under your wallet's margin. The trader you copy never has custody of your funds.

Copy Trade replicates position changes (open · resize · close · reversal) — not the leader's account balance or leverage settings. Your own risk parameters always win.

Vet before you follow

Because rankings come from Hyperliquid's own trade history (userFillsByTime), what you see is real closed PnL, not marketing claims. Before following, check:

  • Consistency, not just ROI — a steady equity curve beats one lucky month.
  • Win rate vs. average size — how they actually make money.
  • Drawdown — how deep their worst losing streak ran.
  • Benchmark — their return measured against simply holding BTC/ETH/HYPE.

Sizing & allocation — your risk, not theirs

You control how a leader's trades translate onto your account:

  • Allocation — the capital you dedicate to a given follow; the leader's positions are scaled to it.
  • Your leverage & risk caps — Ritdex fits each copied position to your account's available headroom, so a leader's aggressive size can't over-leverage you.
  • Multiple follows — copy several traders at once, each with independent allocation, up to the per-account limit.

Sizing is fit-to-headroom: if a mirrored position would exceed your available margin or leverage cap, Ritdex scales it down rather than rejecting or over-committing — you stay within your own limits automatically.

Built-in safety

  • Guaranteed exit. When a leader closes a position, Ritdex ensures your matching position is closed cleanly — even if the leader's account state changes unexpectedly, your exit is retried until you're flat. You are never left holding a position the leader has already left.
  • Drift reconciliation. Ritdex periodically re-checks your copied positions against the leader's and corrects any drift (from partial fills, funding, or missed ticks), keeping your book in sync.
  • Reversal handling. If a leader flips long→short (or vice-versa), Ritdex closes your existing position first, then opens the new direction — it never attempts an ambiguous single-instant net flip during volatile moves.

Non-custodial

Copy Trade is non-custodial by default. Your funds stay in your own Hyperliquid margin account; Ritdex uses a trade-only agent to place the mirrored orders and cannot withdraw or move your money. See Wallet & Security for the agent-key model.

Fees

Copied trades are ordinary perps fills, so they carry the standard perps builder fee (0.025% / 0.045%) and nothing extra — no subscription and no separate copy fee today. A custodial mode with a 10% performance fee (winning trades only, high-water mark — no win, no fee) is coming soon for fully hands-off copying. See Fees.

Master Trader Leaderboard

The leaderboard is powered entirely by Hyperliquid's on-chain trade history — rankings reflect real closed PnL, not claims. Every trader page shows their portfolio, position history, and benchmarked performance so you can decide with data, not hype.
